Questions in the Dark: Our Father, who art in heaven— or so they tell me. But where were you when the prayers felt like shouting into an empty room? Hallowed be thy name, though I struggle to say it when doubt sits heavy on my tongue like communion bread that won't dissolve. I'm still here, still speaking to the silence, still hoping you're listening from wherever fathers go when their children need them most.
