Discipline is not about wanting to. That is the lie. Motivation is unreliable. It comes and goes with sleep and season and whether the last thing you did worked or not. Discipline is what you do in the absence of motivation. The decision is made once. You show up because you decided to show up, and the showing up is its own justification.
